Together, we acknowledge the divine presence woven through all things. We look at the beauty of a tree or the joy in wild weeds and realize that God is not distant but present here and now. When we see tears in a child’s eyes, we recognize God’s own sorrow. God is the mystery in every face, the light and love that holds all of life. Yet, we often miss this truth, blinded by our restless searching. God is neither confined to our thoughts nor separate from our lives. God is the love that created us, the love within us, and the love we are called to become. Will we ever truly live into this? We must.
May we awaken to the divine love within and around us,
living as vessels of that love in all we do.
(inspired by Ilia Delio, The Christic)
