The essence of compassion is inherent in our existence, manifesting as an unbreakable bond among all beings. God’s compassion knows no withholding. This God lives in all and all live in God. We belong together; we belong to one another. True connection transcends boundaries and divisions, reminding us that our quest for oneness is not a search for something new but a return to an enduring reality.
The vision of “the Oneness we already are” is a profound realization rather than a discovery. In moments of clarity, we grasp a universal truth: we are all connected, that we could not be alien to one another even though we may be strangers. This insight challenges us to view solitude not as isolation but as a space where we understand our interconnectedness with others.
We are already one. But we imagine that we are not. What we have to recover is our original unity. What we have to be is what we are. Embracing this perspective means acknowledging that our solitude is a shared experience, reflecting a deeper unity we often overlook. If we consistently saw each other through this lens, we would transform our interactions and foster a more inclusive, compassionate world.
