We are not separate. This is the truth we often forget. Each of us is woven into the fabric of existence, not as isolated threads but as an interconnected whole. The divisions we create—of identity, belief, and belonging—are illusions. There is no you-against-me at all. We constitute each other. When we truly see this, we cannot justify harm or indifference. To see the other is to see ourselves. This awareness demands more than kindness; it demands solidarity. It calls us to recognize the inherent dignity in everyone and everything. You are a part of me I do not yet know. When we live from this understanding, we care for one another as extensions of our own being. Let us strive to embody this truth—not in abstraction, but in action. We belong to each other, and we must act like it.
May we live each moment in the truth
that there is no you-against-me at all,
for we constitute each other.
